just finished stats this morning!!

my goodness that paper was so much harder than what we expect!

again, some ppl didn't even come to sit for the paper assuming they'll fail without looking at it! some others went in sat there for 30minutes then left! are they taking things for granted? i think they have to pay a higher tution fee as well!!

at least i know it's a definite pass.. but there goes my A!!! ishhhh

now i miss the Australian system.. bcoz as long as you are above average, they'll moderate the the stats and you get your results according to your rank!

don't think they moderate the statistics here.. if you can't do means you'll fail and your result is independent of all the other students'. okay, fairplay!

we shall wait and see...! linear algebra on saturday then number theory, group theory and further analysis on tuesday! 2 subjects in a 3 hour paper.. that's our finale!

library visits again... tmr, the day after and so on...

it's so hot now! temperature around 15-21degrees during the day! glaring sun!

i don't understand why they love sun bathing so much! everytime i walk pass any patch of greens, no matter how tiny it is there'll be ppl sitting there... most brought food to eat and books to read.. but some just went there and sleep under the sun!

hence, we tried that today... after they lawyers finish their tort and i'm done with my stats, we bought lunch and sat on the grass! quite a nice feeling though the grass still remain a bit moist!
i guess the difference is no matter how high the temperature is, we still have breezing wind here..

if you realise, no one is sitting under the shade! we were the only ones sitting there under the shade... no wonder you can't find any whitening products at all! instead, ppl here loves to get taned... bronze skin - body shop's latest product for this summer!

i don't understand why do they want to get tanned when they are fair but we asians are trying so hard to get porcelain skin! perhaps they wouldn't understand us too! being the only group among all the whites who prefer to sit under the sun!
