was reading an article regarding the new seven wonders of the world announced on 070707 in Lisbon, Portugal by a non-profit foundation - New7Wonders Foundation!
Ancient seven wonders:
- Great Pyramid, Giza
- Temple of Artemis, Ephesus
- Status of Zeus, Olympia
- Mausoleum, Halicarnassus
- The Colossus of Rhodes
- The Lighthouse of Alexandria
- Hanging Garden, Babylon
New seven wonders:
- Great Wall, China
- Taj Mahal, India
- Colosseum, Italy
- Petra, Jordan
- Christ Redeemer, Brazil
- Chichen Itza, Mexico
- Machu Picchu, Peru
I wonder where is Grand Canyon in USA?!

A travel agent in UK set up a poll and this is the result:
Most disappointing sights:
UK - Stonehenge, Angle of the North in Gateshead, Blackpool Tower
Worldwide - Eiffel Tower, Paris Lourve Museum, New York Times Square
Must-see sights:
UK - Alnwick Castle, Northumberland Carrick-a-Rede-Rope Bridge in Country Antrium, Royal Crescent in Bath
Worldwide - Treasury at Petra in Jordan, Venice Grand Canal, Kenya Masai Mara
Stoneheng is disappointing? I guess some ppl do not know how to appreciate it! and i think Eiffel Tower + Lourve Museum are must-see sights in Paris! how can they vote it under the disappointing sights???

eiffel tower is not all that great. its just paris's symbol.. and the louvre, well.. its a museumla.. like many other wonderful museums.. thats what i think at least. but of course it being a glass pyramid n all makes it interesting. and i think if u want grand canyon.. someone should establish 7 geological wonders of the world
