Interview with Disney!!!

the Disney interview went well.. nothing like a job interview at all... it's more like a discussion between 3 ppl(1 interviewer from Disney and 2 candidates)! but there's a question which i didn't do well...
to my surprise, they asked about the history of ur home country.. and at that moment, all i can say is melacca.. i can't even rmb the name A'Famousa(whatever the spelling is.. =p) and St Francis Xavier Church... what a Malaysian i am!
but i think i was the only one who have been to ALL the 5 disneys on earth! hahaha.... so happeeeeee
hopefully i can still pass the interview despite giving a lousy answer for that ques and choosing only 3 out of 9 roles(we can make up to 7 choices but i just don't see myself doing the other 6).
My first choice: Merchandise
Second choice: Front Office Ticketing
Third choice: Full F&B (fine dining restaurants)
the other 6:
- Custodial (one of the most popular ones but it depends on ur height which character u get!)
- Quick F&B (food stalls selling hotdogs or popcorns - the one with the highest pay!)
- Lifeguard (your swimming speed has to be tested coz it has to be within i-cant-rmb how many minutes per 100m)
- Housekeeping (call it cleaners lahh the job description: to keep the park clean! =p)
- Backstage costume management (sounds cool but it's the only job with no interaction with guests which defeats the whole purpose of me going to do this kinda hospitality work coz i wana use and prac all the languages i know)
i thought i'm a really a disney fan untill i met the other people who are so crazy about disney!
there's this girl who went there for this summer prog for her last 2 summers.. and she was there at the interview hoping to get there for the 3rd time!
then there are some other people who applied for a one year academic prog ie to work part time in Disney Resorts while studying hospitality in Central Florida Uni.. they said the summer prog was fun and they want to go back and work in Disney for a longer time..
really hope i can pass the interview and spend my summer in Florida! x fingers crossed x
