On the 'extra' day of the year - 29Feb
i went up to Aberdeen for the Disney interview!

flights from Bristol are limited and thus, really pricey.. that's why i chose to fly from London Luton!

on the coach to London... the nice London bridge at night..

traffic jam on the way to Luton(an hour from London).. that's why i arrived 30minutes later than expected!

Holiday Inn.. they said there isn't any double beds available.. how unlucky! but at least i got 4 horus of good sleep on bed.. it's more comfy than the bed in my room! haha.. too bad it's only for 4 hours.. quite wasted

the hotel is THAT near the airport... less than 10minutes walking distance!

busy Luton airport! i didn't expect it to be bigger than Bristol's airport since it's the 3rd airport in London after Heathrow and Gatwick!

1.25hours flight to Aberdeen..... thank goodness it's on time!

here we are in Aberdeen.. i'm afraid i can't reach/find the uni in time if i take a bus so i took a cab instead! lovely houses there...

went to the city after the interview:

my Minnie mouse sweater! i'm in the Disney mood! hahaa..

Leni.. we had our interviews together(it's a 1 interviewer 2 candidates kinda interview).. Although she studies at St Andrew's she doesn't have a scottish accent since she is originally from Surrey, England.. i can't understand Scottish accent! =p hope both of us will pass!!!

huge M&S in town.. i think their shopping area is bigger than bristol?

once it started raining, the streets were this empty!

just like bristol, the city is where the river ends!

students of RObert Gordon uni.. i love their uniform! pleated checkered skirt with coat and black shoes..! how smart is that?

the main entrance of Robert Gordon uni main campus.. the interview was held in Garthdee campus though.. out of the city! i have no time to go to Aberdeen uni..

city centre again! till i got really bored and took a bus to the beach....

Footdee.. 10minutes by bus from the centre.. nice beach! nicer than Weston-Super-Mare! hahaa

i was there for an hour..

and waiting for the bus.. which didn't come...!!!

so i have to walk all the way back to the city centre! not far, just 20minutes walk but walking against >30kmph strong wind with a luggage is no joke!!!

managed to catch a bus to Aberdeen Airpot in Dyce(40minutes from city centre)..

and arrive at the airport in time!!!

this airport is still bigger than bristol's airport.. !!!

flight delayed for an hour..

horrible windy weather => extremely bumpy flight!!!

don't fly during winter.. it's really bad! just like the KL->Amsterdam flight and Amsterdam->Bristol flight last Jan... it's all very bumpy due to that bad wind!!!

finally, i reached Luton airport at 10.15pm..! one hour later than estimated!

missed the last coach back to bristol....

but at least i have great friends in London =)

okay.. that's all for Aberdeen trip!
