sry for not replying one by one as I'm this internet connection i'm using in my hotel cost loads!!

anyway, i'll have to move in for at least 2 weeks and see if anyone in Stoke Bishop would like to do a direct swap with me.. hopefully my plan works out..! but i have to carry those stuff up and down stairs b4 i can move out officially from that super old victorian mansion.

I've got my bank account done! btw, for those coming nxt year, opening a bank account is really TEDIOUS!! frustrating.. be prepared that you waste a lot of time waiting and getting letters and docs b4 you can officially get your bank account open.

aft tht, you need to wait for a couple of days b4 it is activated.. ishh!! carrying cash is not a good idea especialy at nite.. ppl here normally use cash cards or debit cards..

haha.. and i'm getting a credit card soon.. it's given by the band when you open an account.. but of course the limit is not more than GBP 500. =)

so now i need to work on getting a local mobile. They need bank account numbers to register!!

phones here are weird! we can't insert a Brit sim card to our Malaysian phone coz it's blocked and to unblock the phone, it cost GBP10! ouch! expensive..

they have weird phone systems here.. really weird.. i'll explain if i have time..

okay, so that's for now.. will drop by my accomodation and check out who my neighbours are.

oh b4 i forget.. i met some international students.. Chinese, Taiwanese, Malaysian(oh dear, i have bad memory till ppl can rmb but i can't rmb them.. so embarasing!) Haven't bump into any Brit students yet.. perhaps they are sitll at home staying in their cosy room.. haha!
